Official Biography
Jose Ibarra is an Emmy Award-winning communications strategist and U.S. Army Master Sergeant (Ret.) with over 20 years of experience in Public Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Multimedia Production. His career spans from combat deployments to Afghanistan and Kuwait, to strategic assignments across Europe, Africa, and the Pacific, and high-visibility work at the highest levels of the U.S. government.
Ibarra served as a Multimedia Producer at the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) at the Pentagon, producing content in support of DoD strategic communication objectives and covering House Armed Services Committee and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence hearings. He received the Thomas Jefferson Award for DoD Broadcast Journalist of the Year and the John T. Anderson Award for U.S. Army Military Broadcast Journalist of the Year.
Selected as an NFL Army Fellow, Ibarra embedded with the NFL Corporate Communications Team in New York City, developing a YouTube strategy that grew channel viewership by 35% and supporting the USO NFL Tour. He also served as Production Director and Station Manager for American Forces Network in Bavaria, Germany, directing broadcast operations for global military audiences.
Throughout his career he has led multimedia teams delivering content to audiences of 60,000+, directed live-streams and press briefings in high-visibility environments, and worked directly with senior Army leaders, government officials, and community partners. As Founder and CEO of STRATCORE LLC, he brings that same mission-focused discipline to serving those who serve.
